Manila, Sept. 10 -- Eight micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) signed a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Labor and Employment in the Caraga Region (DOLE-13) for financial assistance worth over PHP3 million.

The financial assistance is implemented under the agency's DOLE Adjustment Measures Program, aimed at sustaining the beneficiaries' business operations and preserving the jobs of their employees.

DOLE-13 Regional Director Jason Balais led the MOA signing on Wednesday at the agency's office in Butuan City.
