Manila, July 29 -- Seventy-six child development centers will be built in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) as part of a nationwide push to improve early childhood care, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) said Tuesday.
Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, during a post-State of the Nation Address (SONA) briefing, said the Education Commission 2 (EDCOM II), which is tasked with studying reforms in the education sector, has flagged the country's shortage in child development centers.
