663 cops, 759 force multipliers deployed for Pangasinan class opening
LINGAYEN, June 5 -- The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPO) will establish 1,399 police assistance desks across the province for the opening of classes on June 8, an official said Friday.
Pangasinan PPO information officer Capt. Aileen Catugas said the assistance desks will be situated near schools and other convergence areas, such as transport terminals, to assist students and parents.
There are 1,398 public schools in the province that will welcome students on June 8.
"A total of 663 police personnel, together with 759 force multipliers and 82 from other units, will be deployed for the opening of classes," she said.
