Manila, April 30 -- Six senior police officials have been reassigned in the latest reorganization within the Philippine National Police (PNP), prompted by the retirement of several officials.
At a press briefing on Thursday, PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuano said Brig. Gen. Jaysen De Guzman, regional director of the Police Regional Office in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), has been designated as acting chief of the Directorate for Personnel Records and Management (DPRM). He replaces Maj. Gen. Constancio Chinayog, who retired on Thursday at the age of 56.
Brig. Gen. Christopher Abecia has been named the new PRO-BAR chief.
