43% of adult Filipinos see bribery as most serious charge vs VP Sara
Manila, Aug. 3 -- At least 43 percent, or about four in 10 adult Filipinos, see bribery as the most serious impeachment charge against Vice President Sara Duterte, according to an OCTA Research survey released on Monday.
The survey, held from July 4 to 11, 2026, gave four basis for impeachment, and asked 1,200 respondents which among those "grounds for impeachment" they think is the most serious and should be prioritized.
Aside from bribery, "misuse of confidential funds" ranked second with 28 percent, followed by "unexplained wealth" and "grave threats", both with 10 percent. At least 8 percent of the respondents chose "don't know / can't say".
