4 officials get new posts in latest PNP revamp
MANILA, June 1 -- Eastern Police District (EPD) director Brig. Gen. Aden Lagradante has been designated officer-in-charge of the Civil Security Group (CSG), the Philippine National Police (PNP) unit responsible for regulating firearms and private security services, as part of the organization's latest leadership reshuffle.
In an order dated May 29 obtained by the Philippine News Agency, Lagradante replaced CSG director Brig. Gen. Ross Alvarado, whose new assignment was not immediately disclosed in either the order or by the PNP.
Meanwhile, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) deputy director for operations Brig. Gen. Melecio Buslig Jr. was named officer-in-charge of the EPD, replacing Lagradante.
