Manila, March 20 -- Four persons were arrested in Guinobatan, Albay for allegedly trading and selling petroleum products worth PHP2.3 million illegally.
In a news release Friday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said the suspects were caught selling petroleum products without the required license from the Department of Energy (DOE).
Authorities seized three portable micro fuel dispensers containing 500 liters, and one tanker with 100 liters of gasoline and diesel, with a total estimated value of PHP2.32 million.
The suspects are under the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Albay for documentation and inquest proceedings.
