LEGAZPI CITY, July 15 -- The Department of Energy (DOE), together with Trademaster Renewable One Inc., energized a 3-megawatt-peak (MWp) solar power project for Camarines Sur Electric Cooperative (Casureco) IV in Tigaon, Camarines Sur on Wednesday.

In a statement, DOE Secretary Sharon Garin welcomed the project's energization and emphasized the important role of renewable energy investments in strengthening local power systems and delivering tangible benefits to consumers and host communities.

She said the project reinforces the government's commitment to expanding renewable energy deployment and delivering more reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity to communities across the province.
