Manila, Aug. 27 -- More than 240 residents from three homeowners' associations (HOAs) in Barangay Fortune, Marikina City received their long-awaited land titles on Thursday, ending nearly 30 years of tenure insecurity under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s expanded flagship housing program.

Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling and Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) President and CEO Federico Laxa led the ceremonial awarding of Transfer Certificates of Title to beneficiary families under the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program.
