Manila, March 2 -- At least 233 persons facing various offenses were arrested in police operations in Quezon City from Feb. 22 to 28.

Those arrested included 72 drug suspects, 113 wanted persons, 44 suspected gamblers, and four individuals over illegal possession of firearms.

Some PHP1.4 million worth of illegal drugs were seized during the 47 operations conducted during the period, while PHP16,579 in bet money was confiscated from the gambling suspects nabbed in 33 operations.
