ZAMBOANGA CITY, March 24 -- Authorities have arrested two drug suspects and seized suspected shabu, valued at PHP3.4 million, during an operation in Sulu province on Monday night, an official said.

Lt. Col. Francis Briones, chief of the Indanan Municipal Police, identified the arrested suspects by their aliases, Jul, 36, and Mors, 21, both residents of Barangay Bud Seit, Panamao, Sulu.

Briones said the two were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Buansa, Indanan, Sulu at about 9:40 p.m. Monday.

"The operation resulted in the arrest of the two suspects after a police poseur buyer successfully purchased suspected shabu from them," he said in his report.
