Manila, July 15 -- The National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB), under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), said Wednesday it has released about PHP3.07 billion in monetary benefits, benefiting 15,716 workers nationwide.

The Board, citing data from its preliminary Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs as of June 30, said it has sustained effective implementation of labor dispute resolution mechanisms through preventive mediation, the handling of notices of strike and lockout, voluntary arbitration, the Single-Entry Approach (SEnA), and other dispute prevention and resolution initiatives.
