BUTUAN CITY, June 4 -- Some 150 Public Information Officers (PIOs) from different government agencies across the Caraga Region gathered for a one-day Caraga Regional Information Officers Conference on Thursday, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity.

The conference, spearheaded by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), aims to equip PIOs with learning opportunities in AI and cybersecurity amid rapidly evolving technologies and communication platforms. Technical experts from Caraga State University and the Department of Information and Communications Technology served as resource speakers.
