Manila, Aug. 25 -- About 13,000 individuals are currently profiled as beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD), an official of the Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns (BWSC) reported Tuesday.

In a Radyo Pilipinas interview, Leilani Reynoso, director of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) - BWSC said that about 13,709 people are working under the department's emergency employment project.

"Based on data during Brigada Eskwela and in disaster-affected areas, around 13,709 individuals are currently profiled as TUPAD beneficiaries," she said.
