CAMP OLIVAS, July 26 -- he Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) will deploy 1,500 police personnel to Metro Manila to augment security operations for the fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday.

Police reinforcements from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion-3, and units from Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac will be deployed Sunday evening to the National Capital Region to support the Philippine National Police's overall security plan.

PRO-3 also placed 600 backup officers from regional headquarters and provincial offices on standby for immediate deployment if needed.
