Manila, Sept. 20 -- The southwest monsoon or "habagat" will continue to bring rains over the western section of Southern Luzon, the weather bureau said Sunday.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Palawan, warning of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Occidental Mindoro and Oriental Mindoro will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
