'Habagat' keeps Luzon, Visayas soggy as Inday moves away
Manila, July 12 -- The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to bring rains over much of Luzon and the Visayas on Sunday even after Tropical Storm Inday exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its weather forecast, PAGASA said occasional rains are expected over Zambales, Bataan and Occidental Mindoro due to the enhanced southwest monsoon, with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.
