Mumbai, May 16 -- The makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai have issued an official public notice amid ongoing discussions surrounding the film's storyline.

Sharing the statement on social media, Tips clarified that the Varun Dhawan starrer is "an original story and screenplay" and "bears no resemblance to any other film."

The notice further mentioned that Tips, Ramesh Taurani, David Dhawan, along with the cast and crew, have "poured their hearts" into the film and are excited to welcome audiences to cinemas on June 5 for a "fun-filled family experience."

A Tips Films production directed by David Dhawan, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai stars Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde, and releases in cinemas on June 5.
