Mumbai, April 13 -- The final rites of legendary singer Asha Bhosle will be performed today in Mumbai with full state honours, marking a solemn farewell to one of India's most iconic voices.

According to official information, her last rites are scheduled to take place at Shivaji Park at 4 PM on Monday. Prior to that, fans, well-wishers and members of the film fraternity will be able to pay their final respects at her residence in Lower Parel, where her mortal remains have been kept.
