India, Aug. 18 -- The Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max may be the first models to launch, followed by the standard Xiaomi 18 in December. This year, Xiaomi seems to be going against the grain. The company is reportedly planning to launch the Xiaomi 18 series in two phases, with the standard version coming months after the Pro variants instead of launching all three at once, as has been the norm for years.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has reported that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be released first in China, probably in September, with Qualcomm's yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6-series processor. The chipset is expected to use a 2nm manufacturing process.
