India, Aug. 12 -- Sony has confirmed its decision of ending physical game discs production from January 2028 onwards. The fans are not happy with the decision, as most of them feel that with this move, they will lose ownership to the games purchased by them. Also, some fans are worried about not being able to share their game discs with their friends or about purchasing a popular game disc for a discounted price from some random sale. Despite all the concerns from the fans, Sony has confirmed its decision on going all-digital from January 2028 onwards, and the company's decision is based on declining physical games sales.
