India, July 8 -- According to tipster Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra could feature a redesigned hinge said to match the crease performance of the Oppo Find N6. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra will feature a reworked hinge that now folds to the level of Oppo Find N6's, a first in the industry for Samsung, according to tipster Ice Universe. However, the same redesign is also said to make the hinge "more decisive", which could mean the phone may no longer stay open reliably at intermediate angles. That isn't a small detail.
