India, Sept. 17 -- Samsung has quietly launched the Samsung Galaxy A08 in select international markets, adding a 6,000mAh battery and extended operating-system support to its budget smartphone portfolio.

The new entry-level smartphone has appeared on Samsung's regional online stores. It combines a large battery, a 90Hz display and an unusually long software commitment for an affordable phone. However, Samsung has not announced the Galaxy A08 price or launch date in India.
