India, July 15 -- Sony is currently facing a huge backlash from the gaming community for its decision on stopping production of physical game discs from January 2028 onwards. The fans are unhappy because they feel that they will lose ownership to the games they purchase from the PlayStation Store, as a digital download does not guarantee complete ownership of the product.
