India, Sept. 21 -- Google is widening Pixel Scam Detection to more countries while adding a second warning layer inside Gboard. The change matters because scam alerts can now appear at two critical moments: before a user opens a suspicious message and again when that user starts typing a reply. For Pixel owners, that shifts scam protection closer to the point where a risky conversation can turn into action.

Scam Detection in notifications is now available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, the UK, and the US.
