OpenClaw 2.0 just became a very different kind of AI agent
India, Aug. 31 -- OpenClaw 2.0 is the project's largest release so far, but the bigger story is what forced such a broad reset. What began as work on easier installation and a better browser experience expanded into changes across messaging, memory, models, automations, plugins, native apps, security, and collaboration.
More than 16,000 pull requests went into the release, contributed by 933 people, including 569 first-time contributors. The project says this update alone represents roughly half of all pull requests ever merged into its codebase.
