India, July 16 -- OnePlus has officially started teasing the OnePlus N6x in India, and on the surface it looks like another "coming soon" budget phone launch. Dig a little deeper, though, and most of what we know so far points to a phone that could borrow almost everything from the OnePlus N6, including its battery, display and camera setup. That makes the N6x less of a mystery device and more of a test: how much can OnePlus strip back or reuse before Indian buyers stop seeing the N-series as exciting and start seeing it as recycled?
