India, July 26 -- OnePlus is making the 7,000mAh battery the headline feature of the OnePlus N6x ahead of its July 31 launch, with teaser pages carrying the slogan "Power for Days". What's missing from the marketing is that the OnePlus N6x battery is actually smaller than the OnePlus N6's 8,000mAh battery.

The OnePlus N6x is confirmed to sit below the OnePlus N6 in OnePlus's lineup, priced under the N6's Rs. 22,999 starting point. A cheaper phone carrying a smaller battery than its sibling is normal, expected even.
