India, Sept. 1 -- The future of flagship smartphones is about to take another turn with OnePlus's upcoming launch of the OnePlus 16 in China, the new addition to its lineup after the OnePlus 15.

The upcoming flagship is expected to bring significant enhancements in display technology, gaming capabilities and camera hardware. OnePlus officially teased some of its gaming upgrades during the Snapdragon Gaming Technology Awards 2026, while most display and camera specifications still come from leaks.

Although OnePlus has already teased an upcoming flagship Snapdragon chipset and three upgraded gaming technologies, a possible circular camera module and other hardware details have not been officially confirmed.
