India, Sept. 8 -- In a rare open Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, Nothing CEO Carl Pei responded directly to criticism from the company's community. Nothing built its reputation around clean software and distinctive transparent design, but recent decisions-from semi-forced app installations to changing Glyph designs-have left some of the brand's loyal followers disappointed.

Pei did not dismiss the feedback. He acknowledged that Nothing might have changed too quickly from its original design identity and said that a "less but better" philosophy is desired as the company considers its next steps.
