India, Sept. 4 -- Hyderabad-based consumer technology brand Mivi is entering the smartphone market with the Mivi One 5G. The company has officially announced that its first handset will launch in India on September 24, after spending a decade establishing its presence in personal and home audio products such as earbuds, speakers and soundbars.

The Mivi One 5G India launch is a significant step in the company's journey from an audio brand to a broader consumer technology brand. Mivi says the phone has been developed for Indian consumers and will be produced through its manufacturing ecosystem in Hyderabad.
