India, Oct. 14 -- Minecraft 26.4 Snapshot 4 adds a couple of features that could change how players build and explore. Jukeboxes can now play music automatically, while a new ice block makes certain cave paths less trustworthy. Released for Java Edition on October 13, the snapshot also tweaks freezing mechanics, world generation and several familiar bugs.

Players no longer need to replace a Music Disc every time a track ends. Place a single Chest, Trapped Chest or Copper Chest directly above a Jukebox, then add discs to create a playlist.

The Jukebox plays discs in inventory slot order, skips empty spaces and non-disc items, and loops back to the beginning. Ejecting the current disc skips to the next track. If the chest contains no disc...
