India, Aug. 26 -- Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 10 looks like a cozy visual update when it first boots. Spend a little longer with the patch notes, though, and the bigger story becomes clear. Mojang has packed this Java Edition test build with changes for regular players, technical creators, and anyone keeping an eye on the next Minecraft update.

The snapshot adds a Dappled Forest panorama to the main menu, improves structure locating performance, revises Explorer Map names, and introduces substantial data pack and world generation changes.
