Microsoft Copilot Moves Deeper Into Office With New Button and Shortcuts
India, May 13 -- Microsoft is making Copilot easier to find inside Office. That may sound like a minor interface update, but for millions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint users, it changes where artificial intelligence sits in the daily workflow.
The company is reducing Copilot access points across Microsoft 365 apps and replacing them with a more consistent system. Users will mainly see a Copilot button in the bottom-right corner of the workspace, along with contextual options that appear when they interact with content, such as selecting text.
Copilot is no longer being treated like a side feature. It is being placed closer to the document, spreadsheet, or presentation where the work happens.
