India, July 16 -- JSW MG Motor India has unveiled MG ADAPT, a new vehicle platform that can support electric, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and range extender models. The idea is simple. Instead of building a separate base for every type of powertrain, MG can use one flexible architecture across several kinds of cars.

The company plans to launch one electric vehicle and one plug-in hybrid electric vehicle on MG ADAPT during fiscal year 2026-27. It has not yet revealed their names, prices, battery sizes, driving ranges, or exact launch dates.
