iPhone price hike in India: Has Apple's downfall begun?
India, Sept. 14 -- Apple's announcement of the iPhone 18 series and the introduction of its ultra-premium foldable iPhone Duo have ignited discussion in the technology market. The steep iPhone price hike in India, including increases of up to 41% on existing models, may have finally crossed the tolerance level of some buyers.
The iPhone 17 now costs Rs.99,900 for the 256GB model, up from its Rs.82,900 launch price. The 1TB iPhone Air has risen from Rs.1,59,900 to Rs.2,24,900. Apple's new iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs.1,64,900, while the iPhone Duo is nudging towards Rs.3 lakh with a starting price of Rs.2,99,900.
