India, Sept. 10 -- With the release of the iPhone Duo, Apple has officially joined the foldable smartphone market with its most ambitious and expensive smartphone yet. The book-style foldable marks a major architectural shift for the iPhone, featuring a premium titanium build and Apple's A20 Pro chipset.

But the iPhone Duo price in India, ranging from Rs.2,99,900 for the base 256GB version to Rs.4,49,900 for the 2TB variant, has drawn attention. Despite that price, the iPhone Duo camera system does not include a dedicated telephoto lens.

Compared with established foldable competitors and Apple's own Pro iPhones, the luxury foldable comes with a few notable hardware compromises.
