India, July 3 -- A phishing email that once looked sloppy can now sound like it came from a senior officer. A fake voice note can push an urgent payment request. A scanning tool can find exposed systems before a security team finishes its morning tea. That is the risk behind India's latest cybersecurity advisory.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has asked Union ministries, departments, state authorities, and regulators to urgently review their cybersecurity posture as artificial intelligence changes the speed and scale of cyberattacks.
