India, Aug. 13 -- Honor's marketing has leaned hard on battery superlatives this year, and the pace at which it is pushing battery capacities higher is starting to look less like a one-off innovation and more like a treadmill nobody can get off. Honor just launched an 11,000mAh phone, and reports already point to 12,000mAh and even 14,000mAh batteries.

The Honor X80 Pro Max launched in June with an 11,000mAh battery, positioned as a major battery milestone for the company.
