India, May 18 -- HMD is getting ready to launch the HMD Vibe 2 5G in India on May 21 via Flipkart, and the new budget 5G phone looks like a more refined version of the original Vibe with upgraded design and hardware. The phone is being positioned as a budget 5G smartphone for buyers who want a modern device without spending over Rs 10,000.

The biggest upgrade appears to be the 6.75-inch IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. The device is expected to run on the Unisoc T8200 chipset, which is a definite performance upgrade in the budget range. HMD is also rumored to be selling the phone in three color variants - Cosmic Lavender, Nordic Blue and Peach Pink.
