India, Aug. 26 -- Ubisoft has finally brought the original Heroes of Might and Magic 3 to Steam with its two major expansions. On paper, that sounds like the version fans have wanted for years. The launch, however, has run into a problem that is much more basic than missing features or compatibility bugs.

For longtime Heroes of Might and Magic 3 players, the new Steam listing looked like an easy win. This release includes Armageddon's Blade and The Shadow of Death, filling a major gap left by the 2015 HD edition. It should have given Steam users a more complete version of one of PC gaming's best-known strategy classics.
