India, Sept. 16 -- Hanuman Ansh is moving beyond cinema and into gaming, but its first playable outing is taking an unexpected route. Instead of starting with combat or a familiar movie tie-in formula, the franchise will open with an interactive Hanuman Chalisa experience built for mobile players.

Swambhu Media Network has signed a multi-year worldwide agreement with nCore Games to develop three games based on Hanuman Ansh. Development and publishing will be handled by nCore subsidiary Dot9 Games, with projects planned across mobile, PC, and consoles.

The first title is currently in development for a worldwide mobile release. Players will be able to learn and recite the Hanuman Chalisa verse by verse using their own voice. The companies...
