India, Sept. 14 -- OpenAI's latest high-end model does not arrive as a simple upgrade inside ChatGPT. GPT-6 Astra can appear under different names and in different parts of OpenAI's software depending on the account. In regular ChatGPT, eligible users see an Astra-powered model called GPT-6 Pro.

Plus subscribers, meanwhile, receive Astra through ChatGPT Work and Codex rather than through ordinary Chat. That distinction makes Astra as much a product-access story as a model-performance story.
