The future of AI video creation appears to be much more user-friendly, with Google's new Gemini Omni technology allowing users to generate clips, revise them, and continue to develop scenes over time using natural language.

In 2026, Google introduced Gemini Omni, its first fully multimodal AI platform that allows users to create and edit video in new ways. The first iteration of Gemini Omni, also called Gemini Omni Flash, will be available through the Gemini app, Google Flow, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube Create.
