India, Aug. 3 -- Fortinet is bringing cloud delivered security closer to the data it protects. Its new FortiGate 1200G firewall can run FortiSASE Outpost, allowing organizations to inspect traffic and enforce security policies inside customer controlled locations instead of routing everything through an external cloud facility.

The approach targets a growing concern for enterprises using artificial intelligence AI, encrypted applications, and hybrid infrastructure. The key challenge is how to increase security inspection without adding latency or losing control over sensitive data.
