India, May 25 -- The AI assistant for Windows 11 is relocating back to the edge of the desktop. While this move is small in size (or looks small), it demonstrates a shift in the thinking about the future of Windows 11. Microsoft has not yet made any decisions on whether Copilot will function as a standalone application or as an integrated part of other applications and systems, or if it will just remain a virtual companion for work.

With the latest Windows 11 insider builds, Copilot now has a new layout menu within its title bar.
