India, Sept. 11 -- Erangel is familiar enough that longtime BGMI players can read many of its rotations almost on instinct. On September 16, that familiarity gets a supernatural shakeup.

KRAFTON India has confirmed that the BGMI 4.6 update will launch on September 16, 2026, led by Midnight Hunters, a new theme mode built around vampires, hunters, creatures, and altered versions of familiar locations. The map itself remains recognizable, but the fights taking place across it will work a little differently.

Midnight Hunters will run until November 16. Ocean Odyssey will also return to Erangel on September 30 and remain available alongside the new mode.
