India, Sept. 15 -- Apple is turning iCloud+ from a storage subscription into a much broader services package. From September 15, paid iCloud+ plans in more than 100 countries, including India, include Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional subscription charge.

The change applies even to the entry-level 50 GB plan. It also extends through Family Sharing, allowing eligible storage, streaming, and gaming access to be shared with up to five other people.

For customers, the immediate benefit is simple. For Apple, the bigger story is a significant change in how it packages and sells its services.

Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be offered as standalone subscriptions through Apple in markets covered by the rollout.
