India, July 29 -- AMD's Radeon RX 9050 is entering an already crowded budget graphics card market with a straightforward offer. It brings current-generation features, 8 GB of memory, and relatively low power requirements for $279.

On paper, the card looks like a solid option for esports players and anyone upgrading an older 1080p gaming PC. Still, AMD's own performance figures should be viewed with some caution until independent reviews are available. The launch also comes with AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 26.7.1. The update adds driver support for the new GPU and fixes issues affecting Blender, Fortnite, FidelityFX Super Resolution, and several other applications.
