India, Aug. 22 -- AMD has rolled out AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 26.8.1, a focused driver update aimed at upcoming game releases and newer Radeon hardware. Rather than changing the Radeon software experience in a major way, this release is largely about game readiness, compatibility, and fixing a handful of problems reported with recent GPUs.

For Radeon users, the update is worth a closer look before installing. It adds support for new titles and hardware, but AMD's release notes also flag several known issues that could matter depending on the GPU and game being used.
